The foundation of the Active Women in Business Committee.

Amcham now has a new committee. The initiative of the President Philip H. Bay to found a committee where will be engaged all women active in business activities, now it’s real and has its leader. After the first meeting of this Committee where were present a large number of participants from the AmCham members, was organized a second meeting that was finalized with the election of the leader of this Committee. At this meeting is elected the leader of this Committee, Mrs. Olimbi Ibrahimi that will lead this Committee for the period of 1 year.

According to the Bylaw, the leader will be elected every year by the vote of all the members of this Committee.

During the meeting, the two candidates, Mrs. Ibrahimi and Mrs. Flutura Xhabija presented their platform and their ideas for the progress of this Committee will support all women active in business activities, but also to increase their role and engagement in politics and decision making.
