The American Chamber of Commerce organized on June 1^st 2009 a party for all infant-school and school pupils of Gërdec.

The celebration of 1^st of June is a tradition in Albania, but the American Chamber of Commerce respects not only this tradition, but also the children that need help. This year was different because the Board of AmCham decided to organize in a unique way the party for all children of Gërdec. With the fund created by all AmCham members for the Gërdec habitants, it was decided to celebrate the 1^st of June and to distribute gifts for all 140 children of the school. The Amcham organized a party with music, entertainment, circus artist, and a lot of gifts for children from infant school to school pupils.
