Measures taken by the government in response to the Coronavirus pandemic have turned the state budget back 8 years in terms of revenue performance. According to fiscal indicators of the Ministry of Finance, in April 2020 it turns out that the lowest level of total revenues has been collected since 2013. Specifically, in April, about ALL 28.9 billion or EUR 233 million were collected from ALL 30.7 billion or 247 million. euros collected in 2013. While in the entire other period April 2014-2019, revenues in the state coffers are higher.

Sipas treguesve fiskalë të Ministrisë së Financave, në muajin Prill 2020 rezulton të jetë mbledhur niveli më i ulët i të ardhurave totale që nga viti 2013.  Konkretisht në muajin Prill u mblodhën afro 28.9 miliardë lekë apo 233 milionë euro nga 30.7 miliardë lekë apo 247 milionë euro që u mblodhën në vitin 2013. Ndërsa në të gjithë periudhën tjetër Prill 2014-2019, të ardhurat në arkën e shtetit janë më të larta.

Janë rreth 97 mijë punonjës që u është miratuar pagesa prej 40 mijë lekësh si pjesë e paketës së dytë financiare dhe 95 mijë prej tyre e kanë marrë. Deri tani janë paguar 3.8 miliardë lekë, nga 7 miliardë lekë, që është fondi total, sipas të dhënave që janë publikuar nga Ministria e Financave, në statistikat e saj për Covid-19. Numri i përfituesve përbën vetëm 55% të punonjësve që ishin planifikuar të përfitonin nga kjo pagesë, teksa në total fondi është parashikuar për 176 mijë punonjës.
