Deputy Ambassador Henry Jardine welcomes AmCham board to his residence

U.S. Deputy Ambassador Henry JardineU.S. Deputy Ambassador Henry Jardine invited the AmCham Board of Directors to his residence to exchange views on the AmCham’s work and plans for the future.

The meeting served primarily as a networking opportunity and to strengthen relations between AmCham and the U.S. Embassy, which has officials attending most of the activities the chamber organizes.

The U.S. deputy ambassador congratulated the AmCham Board, its President and Executive Director for the work done so far in dealing with the professionalism with business concerns that affect AmCham members and the community at large, and he invited them to continue on the same path in the future.

He added that priority must be given to the top concerns of businesses that have been spelled out in the AmCham Business Agenda, the document on which the chamber bases its activities.

U.S. Ambassador Alexander Arvizu also participated at the meeting, sharing thoughts and ideas with the board members on various themes related to the economy and business climate in the country.

AmCham President Mark Crawford thanked Mr. Jardine for the invitation and added that the chamber has done a good job, but that it was important to point out that it had been lucky to have a partner like the U.S. Embassy, and their effective cooperation had yielded results in AmCham’s work.
